Planning guidance
What to think about
- Deciding between collection and delivery
- A milestone birthday with guests and a booked venue often suits a delivered, installed display — an arch makes a strong entrance or photo feature. A smaller or more informal celebration is often better suited to a Grab & Go display you collect yourself.
- Choosing a Grab & Go number display
- Number Columns, Number Stacks and Bubble Columns each put a number or a personalised finish front and centre in a different way — see each display's own page for exactly how they differ and what's included.
- A taller centrepiece
- For extra height, our Balloon Towers are a freestanding alternative to a number display. They're part of our Custom Installations — we deliver and set them up, then collect the stand after your event.

FAQs
Birthdays questions
Should I choose a Custom Installation or Grab & Go for a birthday?
Either can work — it depends on your venue and how big an impact you want. A delivered arch or installed display suits a bigger celebration with a booked venue; a Grab & Go number display is a simpler, self-collected option for a smaller one.
What's the difference between a Number Column, Number Stack and Bubble Column?
A Number Column is a standard vertical arrangement, a Number Stack is horizontal and normally includes foil balloons, and a Bubble Column is topped with a personalised vinyl decal instead of a printed number — see each display's own page for full details.
Can I collect a birthday display on the day of the party?
Grab & Go displays are collected from our Chatham base, ME4 — please bring a suitably large vehicle and check our current availability when you enquire.
